Card Stock orders - Your order spends 3-5 days at the printshop.  We ship on the day we pick up your order.

Photo Paper (Fujicolor Crystal Archive Paper) orders - Your order spends 1-3 business days in the photo lab.
We ship on the day we pick up your order.

E-Card orders - You will receive your proof within one business day from the time you submit your order.
Once you approve your proof, you will receive your final product via email.  You are then able to send it to your

you will be able to post your card on your blog or family website and/or email it.

Does Inventing Matilda have an Order Minimum?
Nope.  Only you can determine how many cards you would like to order. Our only advice is that it seems that it is better to have a few extras at the end of the day than have to order more because you forgot to include your husband's family and that one aunt who always sent you purple turtlenecks as a kid. The exception to this rule is if you are special ordering a double-sided card stock print (see more information below).  In that case, we require a 30 print minimum.

Do You Offer Card Stock Prints?
Inventing Matilda offers Double-Sided Card Stock Prints at a price of $2.00 per card.  We require a 30 card minimum order for Card Stock Prints.  You announcement will be professionally printed on 100lb. Card Stock.  The design will continue on the back of the card.  Please plan on a one week order completion period when special ordering card stock prints. If you would like more information about our Card Stock Printing or to place a special order, please write to orders@inventingmatilda.com

Do you sell Photo Cards and Birth Announcements for Twins and Triplets?
Yes.  We are happy to modify any of our paper choices to help you welcome your new babies.  We will even work doubly hard on it!  Simply choose the paper style you like and place your order.  We will work with the text that you put in the Order Comments Box on the checkout page and with the quality photo of your babies.  This is a great example of why small is the new big: We are a smaller scale Design House and therefore able to go the extra mile and personalize your paper.  We chose against offering a tiny selection of sample cards made just for twins and triplets because we want parents to have all options open to them.

Can I order envelopes shipped ahead?
Pre-ordering birth announcements envelopes is great option for parents-to-be. Simply note on your order in the special instructions that you would like us to send your envelopes right away.  This will allow you to fill them out while basking in the pinnacle of your pregnancy, rather than squeezing in addressing sometime between the 3am feeding and the 7am rush.  Please Note: We will not pre-ship envelopes automatically.  They must be requested during the ordering process.

Ideally, birth announcements should be sent within weeks of the birth, however, any time within the first three months is appropriate.  If you missed the opportunity to send out birth announcements or you feel that it may be too late, a great alternative is to send out a quality First Year Birthday Announcement with or without birthday party information.
